Volumes: 8 complete

Joohna is an arrogant teenager who puts down women and hopes to become a big womanizer when he gets older. His aspirations are ruined when his body transforms into a girl. He has to leave his old life including his best friend Jinhoon and his first love Heewon.
The story gets very serious after Joohna's transformation. Heewon begins to stalk her and starts acting up when she finds out that Joohna is really a girl. As a reader your meant not to root for this couple.
Jinhoo, Joohna's childhood bestfriend is a famous pianist who already has a girlfriend but has strong feelings for Joohna that he can't explain. He has never felt this way before even towards his girlfriend.
Taehyn is a busy savy playboy who is interested in girl Joohna after he gets knocked out by her in one blow.

The plot is very interesting. I'm not a big fan of the paneling in the manhwa, it doesn't capture what the author intends sometimes. It was really good in the first chapter but then it seemed like Lee Youngran got lazy.
A lot of people complain about the ending but I am personally happy who Joohna ends up with. I just wish she didn't tell Jinhoo to stay with his girlfriend, he doesn't love her and he's only going to be with her because his true love made him promise to stick with her. I know it just wouldn't work out.

Nonchan To Watashi

Volumes: Oneshot

Rise and Takumi have known each other since they were little kids. Even though they still see each other, they aren't as close as they use to be. They got into a conflict about Takumi's glasses and Rise still regrets not apologizing to him about it. Takumi since has changed into a big campus playboy.

Rise gets kinda pathetic with the whole "I don't belong in his life!", are you serious? It's just a pair of glasses. Even after Takumi kisses her she still acts whiny. I don't know, I guess people are just obsessed with drama. I can't totally blame her. I have my own over dramatic moments in my life.

It's about Rise admitting learning how to admit your feelings.
I didn't like it as much as I thought I would but it isn't a bad oneshot.

Wagahai Wa Yome de Aru

Volumes: 1 Complete

I was kinda confused when I read this scan. I thought this was a short series about a high school girl married to a writer but it's actually a series of oneshots. The high school girl story is one of four. The way that it was described with that one story only seemed like it was a series.

Anyway...

"I'm His Wife" Nako meets an author named Hii-kun at the bookstore, they start going out and then soon get married. It kinda bothers me that an adult would ask a high school girl to marry him. She wasn't wise beyond her years or anything like that, she was what you'd expect from a high school girl, a child. She even mentally says that she's missing out on stuff because she got married young. She gets interested in a high school classmate named Saigou-kun and goes out with him.

"Love Mates" Natsuki has been suffering from nightmares and she wants to roommate to keep her company. Turns out her roommate is a guy named Ootani. She's a little uncomfortable about this.

"Children Salad" Oda Akira is a man hoping to become a nursery school teacher. The problem is that kids are afraid of him, and he doesn't like kids very much either. There is a bright friendly high school girl who also works at the nursery. This author has something for older men/ high school girls.

"The Flower Language Of Lilac" Serina is a tomboy and class clown. She doesn't want to be identified as a girl. Nothing makes her more happy then to make others laugh. But Toyohara might get in her way by telling his own jokes.

All the stories are cute but really lack depth, which what a lot of oneshots suffer from. It's just more of oh I'm in love with this person for no reason kind of thing, except "Children Salad". I really liked the art. My favorite was the authors soft tones in "Love Mates".

Talking About...

Volumes: 3 Complete
This manhwa is about three women in their late 20's / early 30's and their love lives.

Sarah is a sexy and attractive women who plans events for people to hook up with each other. But at 29 she has a secret, she's a virgin. She looks around for the right man to lose it to.

Gang-E is a manhwa-ka who is uncomfortable with the fact that she's going out with someone much younger than her.

Amber is a successful career woman who has innocent looks, but looks can be deceiving. She has hooked up with countless of men. Men love her but she doesn't get along with women very well.

I really liked this series, there are arguments, break-ups, the characters grow and change. There is a lot of talk about sex but nothing graphic, I wouldn't even consider this series smut. The series mainly focuses on Sarah and Gang-E, Amber doesn't change much in character, but she's already "refined" to begin with. The ending is very open that foresees either good or bad futures for each character.

There is a lot of shades of blue in this and it's kinda annoying, the overuse of brushes and screen tones makes the artist seem lazy. The characters themselves look good though.

Talking About... is licensed by netcomics. If you like it support the series.

Fujoshi Kanojo

Volumes: 4 ongoing

Mutou sees a beautiful older girl girl named Ameya at a jewelry packaging shop, and he begins to work there part time to get to know her better. They eventually hook up and he confesses to her. She tells him "I'm a fujoshi, do you change your mind?" Motou doesn't know what a fujoshi is so he tells her that he doesn't care and wants to be with her. That's where the fun begins.

Fujoshi is basically a fangirl, who loves male/male homoerotic relationship (yaoi). Ameya takes an innocent shounen manga and forces Mutou to make it a BL (boys love) fanfiction. He of course hates it at first but later on he begins to really enjoy writing it.

There is a lot of fangirl vocabulary that I didn't know about.
Megane Danshi : A guy who gets hotter when he wears glasses. (Mutou)
Tuna Uke : A fish boy who is the submissive one in a male/male relationship.
I really feel for Mutou, half the time I don't know what his girlfriend is talking about.

The artist of this series is Shinba Rize who is known for yaoi manga. People who make yaoi manga make beautiful art, why is that? I love the expression of the characters, especially Ameya. The transitions are really well done too, reading this manga is like watching a show.

Koko Ni Iru Yo! Volume 1-4

volumes: 5 Complete

Sumino is a very shy girl which no one seems to notice. She lets her voice be heard anonymously over the internet via a blog. Her only friends are Black Rabbit and MegaPIG who comment on her blog. Then the two popular guys take notice of her existence and it gets a little less interesting after that.

Even though Sumino starts out weak and pathetic, she does try to break out of her shell. And she does show more strength as the series goes on.

I find it rather annoying that the two guys Hinata and Teru seem to be fighting her affection, when I don't find a good enough reason to do so. If she's "plain" why would you be going for her. It's just not explained clearly. I was rolling my eyes throughout the latest scans.

The characters are made to look cute but at times they all look the same, just with slightly different hair styles. The screen tones seem to be overdone at times. Their profile view makes their heads look narrow.
